TrueCrypt and Linux OS

Hi chaps,

Playing with TrueCrypt the past couple days. I get how to set up volumes, hidden volumes, etc but i am struggling on the setting up a hidden OS with the truecrypt bootloader. The official documentation isnt very clear, and it talks about using the "System.." option which isnt available in the Linux tar.gz.

Has anyone set up a hidden OS in the past? How did you do it? Encrypt a partition, then install the OS onto that partition for example?

Truecrypt system encryption only works with Windows. AFAIK that also means hidden O/S's need to be Windows too.

OP, for full disk encryption with Linux you should look into using LUKS with dm-crypt/cryptsetup.
