Truly unlimited data plans

Unfortunately, due to upcoming circumstances, I am going to need to use mobile internet with an ipad a lot. I am talking around 2GB a day!

Is this completely impossible to manage at an affordable level or are there ways of doing it?

I currently have a virgin plan which gives me 1GB a month and charges me around £2.10 per day after that allowance has gone. However, it is a phone plan. I would rather use the ipad for internet than tether. Also, Virgin may put the block on me after a while for using too much data.

Any ideas guys?

Can you not use an iPhone plan?

Do you mean tether an iphone to the ipad? I was thinking of maybe doing that for the LTE, but I dread to think what unlimited would be on that.

I will be spending quite a bit of time in hospital, so need to browse, but mainly use it for Sky Go, so I don't miss any sport.

No, stick an iPhone SIM in the iPad.

I used my t-mobile unlimited for 80+GB a month recently. That was via tethering mind

^ And you can just cut a normal SIM down to MicroSIM size with a pair of scissors. Helps to have a MicroSIM to use as a guide though.

Yeh, my GF uses here standard micro sim from vodaphone

I use three in my pay as you go phone and get a £15 addon that lasts a month.
I get 300 mins + 2000 texts and all you can eat data. If the ipad uses a phone sim you could do that but if its a dongle sim it will not work.

I use that. Use it to teather etc. No problems

I have this for my sgs3 and use it to tether to pc.
