Page 37 of the manual shows you where the battery is so you need to take of the lower cover.I put down everything that could be unscrewed. But much of the cover still remained. And I don't see the battery. I don't know how to put all the cover down.
Skip to 11min 20 sec to show you how to take the m2 and chipset cover off then you've got to get that bottom cover off for the bios battery.I put down everything that could be unscrewed. But much of the cover still remained. And I don't see the battery. I don't know how to put all the cover down.
It is there according to the manual maybe it's time to email Gigabyte or call technical support.I did it exactly as seen in the video. But where is bottom cover off for the bios battery please? I don't see anything like a battery anywhere.
From the diagram its under the black shroud directly below the black screw and m2 stand off.I wrote in support. They wrote me this:
Kindly click here to refer the manual on page 32 for unscrew the screws of the thermal cover and you should able to see the CMOS battery.
That is all.
I removed everything I could. Well, I only see this. No battery.
could you please mark the place in the photo?
I can't im on my phone.
If you put an m2 drive in the bottom right m2 slot markerd m2c socket where you put in the retaining screw to hold the drive in place the bios battery should be directly below , covered over by the plastic shroud.
Let us know what they say.About every fifth day, the bios is reset.
there are no other problems. so i think the battery is the most likely cause.
I wrote in support, I also sent them a photo. but they haven't answered me yet.
