try this one next time you're having a kick around

The potential to make a tool of oneself is strong. I predict the will be some blunders trying to replicate this over the coming months :)
 
the technique is good but extremely hard to pull off correctly. you could do it but not with enough power or accuracy to beat a keeper had they guessed the right way. a keeper doesnt care what foot your hitting it with - they pick a side and dive and hope to get it right.

i would say that even with practice, under pressure of say an important game, only a few attempts would be successful and the majority not.

still its a brilliant penalty and could maybe fool a keeper into diving early or too late.
 
Is good penalty... but as said he'd look a fool if he missed.

Exactly it was a fairly taken penalty...fair enough the guy changed from one foot to the other but still managed to make the GK look like a retard:p

Nice penalty though.
 
hehe i thought about posting that as it goes, but i remembered seeing it on the forums elsewhere and couldn't be bothered to repost... awesome skill, and Mata couldn't even get on the pitch
