It's cool, but I don't think doing it will actually increase your chances of scoring. The keeper will have already decided which way he is going, so he still needs to place it in the corner - but now it is a lot more awkward!

I think the whole point in the pen is the keeper doesn't dive until you strike the ball, so when you hit it, he thinks you are getting your footing to strike it with your normal foot.
