so i tryed wow today and i had to quit the game and uninstall it!

I got carried away and had to prevent myself from being addicted, i done it for my own good and to keep my relationship! Haha

I knew that if i carried on it would end badly for me, soo... Im sticking with the good old BF3 :D

nah its gets boring so quickly post 60 your soon quit.
same happened with Tera the grind post 45 caused me to quit - even though it was the best MMO iv played recently.

I found the game fun but to the limit that i would get addicted and lrt it take over my life!

Whats guild wars 2 like?

Can't get into GW 2, its a bit lacking...the game feels empty and the amount of things to do isn't much.

I hope this questless mmo thing doesn't catch on as guild wars 2 basically amounts to a string of not even connected minigames.

i used to play about 2 years ago came back just recently and after playing for a couple of weeks i could feel myself getting sucked in but it's got boring really quickly so i've cancelled my subscription, i don't think i will ever go back now.

MoPs probably my last expansion, I only play to raid now, daily quests etc bore me. Will probably buy GW2 when I quit cause I always need a MMO fix :p

I do actually like MoP, but I just miss Vanilla WoW. I had so many good times with that, I don't think I'll enjoy anything else near as much. Going up to the AV queue and using the mind control helmet to mind control the elite guards to kill all the people queueing... So funny! Even when it was done to me! :p

I just loved the game so much back then. Yeah it was a little rough, and very grindy, but to me, the imperfections made it all the better. :(

Same, vanilla and tbc were the best, after that I've just lost interest with every expansion, keep me entertained for a week or two then only logon to raid

GW2 was a load of fun.. until arena seemed to get carried away with their war on gold sellers/bots and in the process shafted regular players too with restrictions and limitations

I find it hard to get into mmorpgs in general anymore

Guild War 2 is "questless"? I'm sorry, I doubt you even actually played the game.

The quests are location-specific and you do them on the spot and with multiple approaches which you can choose to use to contribute toward completing them - you don't like one approach, you can use another...which give the players a choice, rather than shoving it in their face and only giving them one FIXED approach of doing the quests. But of course, if you enjoy being same old errand boy getting a quest from a town, going point A to C, being asked to kill X number of enemies and collect X number of items again and again and again, then GW2 is clearly not for you.

And unlike most mmo which put players against players calling each other ninjas over loots, GW2 encourge co-operative play by everyone get rewarded for their contribution in battle. The dynamic events are great with everyone can jump in and participate in the fights, rather than getting the usual responses of "oi! Back off! That's my mob/boss...don't you dare try to ninja" "A-hole! Go find your own boss/named to kill!".

I don't think the MMO is at fault, just don't think the genre your cup of tea.

The best content endgame content for WOW is after level 60:) Just forget the Cata stuff. MoP is good so far.

And as for GW2, well yes there are quests of sort, but not in the traditional sense of a MMO. I enjoyed GW2 however the Arah and Karma grind for two characters was enough. Plus no matter what anyone says the PVE dungeon design always ending up being a clusterfk without the holy trinity.

No doubt I will return to GW2 but only after some decent endgame PVE content is added, and the WvW becomes more strategically important for my server.

I prefer to play on a private server. One of (if not the best) but they are still on patch 3.3.5a. Yes, Wrath of the lichking. Which isn't the best (The burning Crusade was said to be) but still not bad at all. Really not interested in Kung fu panda lol. I think it just went silly when Cata come out.

But yeh the one i play is a funserver but very well balanced also and loads more to do than in normal wow. Also because of the fun side of things you can pick it up/put it down when you want :) Personally i've never understood how anyone can get addicted to any game. But that's just me i suppose.

Anyway i must agree that you made the right choice OP. it is nothing special at all...

The only MMO i have ever got addicted too was Lineage 2, that might be because it was my first MMO but the PVP in that game was awesome! heck even the gold sellers made that game fun to play :D would have constant fights with them over selling gold, then go buy more gold to get better weapons to fight them HAHAH
