tryed WOW for the first time today

The only MMO i have ever got addicted too was Lineage 2, that might be because it was my first MMO but the PVP in that game was awesome! heck even the gold sellers made that game fun to play :D would have constant fights with them over selling gold, then go buy more gold to get better weapons to fight them HAHAH

So you looking forward to Linage 2?

I prefer to play on a private server. One of (if not the best) but they are still on patch 3.3.5a. Yes, Wrath of the lichking. Which isn't the best (The burning Crusade was said to be) but still not bad at all. Really not interested in Kung fu panda lol. I think it just went silly when Cata come out.

But yeh the one i play is a funserver but very well balanced also and loads more to do than in normal wow. Also because of the fun side of things you can pick it up/put it down when you want :) Personally i've never understood how anyone can get addicted to any game. But that's just me i suppose.

Anyway i must agree that you made the right choice OP. it is nothing special at all...

MMO addiction isn't a bad thing, at least for me, stops me from buying games :D

Used to play WoW, absolutely hated levelling on any character, the entire game is at endgame, so levelling just feels like an unnecessary, repetitive waste of time. After that it got really good, and then repetitive again. You probably made a good call OP, you can get addicted to MMOs too easily, but after every hard session, I would always think "well, that was a bit of a waste of a day"

GW2 is a good option, you don't feel the need to play constantly and can pop in if you have a craving (no sub fee woo!)

I found the game fun but to the limit that i would get addicted and lrt it take over my life!

Whats guild wars 2 like?

If you have limited play time, then I definitely recommend Guild Wars 2! It really is geared towards casual playstyle and you can play for 20 minutes and feel like you are progressing. a lot of people complained about there not being enough "end game" content, as instead Anet chose to focus on excellent events and encounters across the whole game. Due to the game scaling high level characters down to match the content, you cannot outlevel an area as such.
