Last year I took part in the ICM Broadband Survey and we were all given a Linksys WRT160NL router with "custom firmware" which we'd attach to our networks and it in turn would run speedtests at set intervals and uploads the stats to ICM.
When the survey ended we were told we could keep the routers but it's all but useless in it's current state.
Attaching it to a Windows PC via ethernet results in "Unidentified network" and ipconfig results in -
Linksys routers normally use 192.168.1.1 for the WebUI but this does nothing. I, maybe wrongly, assumed that I'd simply use ipconfig to see if the default gateway IP had been changed but it's blank.
Any ideas?
