trying to access my nas on synology.me just goes to router

Hi guys any help please im useing a asus n66u router when i try and access my nas it just goers to the router log in screen

I had something similar happen the other day when I started messing with the advanced settings on the NIC. Changed the IPv4 Checksum Offload to disabled to test something.

Everything I tried then seemed to go to my N56U.

Maybe you've done something similar?

are you forwarding the right ports for the nas and are you using the right internal or external ip address

Have you setup your synology nas with your router in the synology control panel?

In DS 4.1 it will try to do it auto but if that doesn't work do it manually and give the nas a IP addy like 192.168.0.5 click save.

Then start Synology Assistant you should see the nas then click connect

If you are trying to access it externally you need to set up port forwarding on your router. Its probably port 80, which you will need to forward to your NAS's LAN IP address.
