better onboard GPU, better CPU. It's a better choice if you can spend the money towards it.

Note that if you want to use crossfire (adding a dedicated GPU that will double the graphics power), you will have to use a HD6670, and check the games you want to play will have good crossfire (XFire) support.

THe A10 is on offer for just a few quid more than the A8 (A10 has better graphics). Unless you want to drop to the A6 which is a dual core for £50.

The mobo I used allows overclocking, has sataIII and USB3 and also has a HDMI output.......does he have a little HDTV he could run the rig through.....save on getting a screen?

You're welcome bud. I put that video up to show the A6 APU gaming without a GPU. As I said the A10 has better graphics and is a quad core not a dual, as it's priced so close to the A8 it makes sense to go with the A10 whilst on offer.

too kind thanks very much and also have a great xmas :) , due to too much work i need to sit down and start sorting out me computer experience lol im rusty :)
