Trying to find the name of a game

Hello,

Wondered if anyone can help, am trying to find the name of a game I used to play as I want to buy it off the eBay to play again. Now I can't remember to much of it but hopefully something rings a bell to someone here.

Here is what I can remember:

- Was on the PS2
- Was a racing game similar to wipEout
- You had weapons in the game depending on what vehicle you chose
- Weapons included mortars and chain guns and missiles
- You raced in what was like a cross between a motorbike and a hover car (?)

Any ideas? Its pretty vague but maybe someone will remember.

Yes! That's the one! Excellent stuff, the rainforest seem to have it for just £2 , happy days indeed.

For those that are interested, the full title is "XGIII: Extreme G Racing", its got 81 on metacritic and gives its self the following description:

"Summary: "Wipeout Fusion" is in for some competition (if it is ever released!) with this anti-mavity racer which moves at 60 frames per second and features three modes (league, arcade, and time-trial) and two-player split-screen racing within a playable field of up to 12 bikes."
