Just past 3.9 but it looks like the voltage will be getting on for 1.5 volts to hit 4Ghz.

Would 1.5volt be OK for prolonged use ?

A Q6600 is near on invincible, how are you cooling it? I happily ran mine at 3.8Ghz with 1.58vcore for a couple of months.

With good cooling 1.5+v should be fine, i had one at 3.8ghz on 1.52v on air cooling, ran it for months before selling it on.

vcore wise the 65nm core 2/quad are pretty difficult to kill - aslong as cooling is good. I had an E6600 running 3.8gig on 1.65v using water cooling for almost 2 years and its still working fine... not that I would reccomend running above 1.5v tho if its not a "throw away" CPU.

Cant get the swine stable. Anything over 444 x 9 and it will fold for around tens minuets tops. At 450 its the same, windows stable but falls over after ten minuets of folding.
