I have a site where i've been told i can find the MP3's from the flash in my internet cache under the extension *.fk file.

I can then apparently rename it to *.swf. After this i need some sort of SWF file converter program but as of yet i can't find a program that will play the file so an external player comes up and a copy of the MP3 i want is stored.

Any ideas as simply using a audio recorder isn't good enough quality.

a m8 recently wanted some spanish style music for his holiday photos to put onto DVD. I found a good site for the music , but they were .swf files .If I clicked on them a box would appear and play the file. I captured all the songs available simply by connecting my miniCD player to the speakers and recorded them .I played them back through the sound card input and captured them as .wav files then converted them to .mp3 .A bit of a faf , I know but it worked and my m8 was well pleased the tracks .All for free.

My problem is the.fk file doesn't seem to be a .swf file, or at least the programs i've tried don't accept the .fk file. It's worked for other people (can't get in touch as forum thread was last updated ages ago) however, so i'm a bit lost.

well, what i do (this is for video flash movs but should be the same) is save the flv/flash file, and check i can play it in media player classic (may need ffdshow to do this).

once i can, i just use avisynth to open the flash mov in whatever prog i want. virtualdub etc. would work the same for an audio file as well as avisynth would open it with the same filters media player would use and as far as windows is concerned its just a PCM audio file and you could then encode to mp3/aac if you prefer.
