Trying to get my RAM 100% stable - Advice needed! (3950x, Trident Neo)

Yeh it's at 600% now with no errors.

Going to swap back to the other pair (or one at a time) to confirm, but it certainly seems like a ram flaw.

I don't think it's a speed or timing issue, as there was errors happening at 2133.

This is what I would do. I would get the computer stable with just 2 DIMM's in the correct slots. Then I would use the computer for at least one week and see what happens.

If the computer is totally stable for at least one week, then swap the other 2 DIMM's in there place. If the computer is no longer stable then there is a difference between those 2 pairs of DIMM's, then in that case you need to RMA at least those 2 DIMM's. The changes are however if there is a fault, it's likely just 1 DIMM that's faulty.

I just left it running with the two 'good' dimms in the 'wrong' slots, and it got to 1200% with zero errors. So the slots seem to be fine as well.

Now I'm back to the 'bad' dimms in the same slots at the same settings, and I will see how it goes. If they throw an error, then one of those dimms is definitely bad.

Running to see if the computer is 'stable' for a week is pretty useless as tests go. How would I know if it was stable or not? Unless the bit that flips happens to be one that causes a blue screen, I wouldn't know about it. Chances of that seem to be in the millions. The ram only throws a single bit error every 200-400% of ram coverage on average. Most people probably run their ram overclocked with more errors than that without noticing.

The ultimate stability test is to run a computer as normal, run enough software long enough it will eventually crash if there's an issue.

Just as an update:

Now using a new set of ram, all 4 sticks runs at default settings and it's currently been error free for 500%. Going to keep it running for a while, but yeh seems like the problem was the ram all along.
