I have a Dell 5150 that has 1GB memory. (two Samsung 512MB DDR2 4200)

I bought two more Samsung 512MB of the exact same manufacture code as is in the Dell already.

I tried to stick in one of the modules it worked so i shut the system down, stuck in the other it refused to boot and stuck at the bois of the video card (which i've never seen before!)

I took that m,odule out and tried it in a friends system that has ddr2. it was knackard, so i sent it back for a replacement. In the meant time i tried using just the one extra stick so i'd have 1.5GB which works, then after say 20mins crashes and gives me a blue screen. "memory managment"

I can even load up a game of BF2 and play it sometimes it crashes sometimes it doesn't, verry strange.

So i recieved the replacement for the faulty module this morning stuck it in machine and (with or without the other extra module) it beeps and refuses to boot. (again never had that)

So is this a system fault or have i had terrible luck and been send 2 possibly 3 faulty ram modules??
