Trying to identify suitable RAM is confusing me.

I love seeing all these discussions about dual rank vs single rank, B-die or micron but in reality outside of benchmarks or 1080p gaming it really doesn't make a noticeable difference in performance or fps.

Exactly. Which is why I bought value for money and got the most optimal choice.

4x8GB for less than £168 it's RGB 3600mhz and CL16.

It's going to perform pretty much 99th percentile and yet cost me 10th percentile money
