Well I am about to start the upgrades and plan to work towards replacing the system over the next few months. I have decided to start with the PSU as I have been told it should work fine with my current system (see sig) as well as the planned upgrade. I have chosen to go for a 1000w for future proofing, the fact I run a lot of drives and have the capacity for a lot more (23 bay Enermax Server Chassis). With this in mind I have narrowed it down to:
1. Enermax Galaxy 1000W EGX1000EWL ATX2.2 Modular PSU
OR
2. Coolermaster Real Power 1000w Modular Power Supply
I know the Coolermaster is not currently in stock but with a peak of 1250w it really does have an excellent ceiling and is also £30 cheaper. What it doesn't seem to have is this power to ram function that the Enermax has. My questions really surround what peoples' views are of both and indeed if there would be problems with running either with my current setup until November when I do my upgrade.
Thanks
