I have a HP NC6400 Laptop.
I have Vista and its an upgrade version, my laptop has some bugs and whatnot on it and I want to reinstall Windows XP, then install Vista.
Due to my Laptop having a SATA hdd, when getting to the first 'blue screen' of Windows setup and asked if I want to install a SCSI or Raid driver, I have to press F6 then install the relevant driver from my floppy disc.
This is how it should go, but the blue screen keeps freezing at different points, its always on a different driver being installed, has froze twice on the 'kernal debugger'...
Why should it do this? I have tried three Window XP discs, I installed Win XP fine about 6 months ago in the same way.
Any help would be appreicated.
