I was thinking about 1941-43

all the videos i've watched no one has the "Shotgun" weapon...Does anyone else remember that one ? Fired a kind of cone spread arc thing in star shapes made a punchy sound, relatively slow firing...

Does anyone remember one from the late 80s, typical vertical scrolling jet shooter, but you could collect various upgrades, and if you collected enough, you briefly turned in to like a flaming hawk/eagle/phoenix and tear the place up, before reverting to your previous form (minus 1 upgrade).

I thought 'Golden' was in the title, but my google fu is weak.
