after a good nights sleep i had another crack and flashed to xwla4, flash to insecure kernal, rooted using sg2 root by gaz, removed bbc iplayer and vlingo, unrooted using sg2 root by Gaz and flashed back to the secure kernal

sky go now works (the whole reason i have been wanting to unroot) but it's jsut a shame that vibrate icon is ******* annoying :(

Hi Uhtred,

Sorry i didn't realise you'd posted again, glad you got it sorted though! you think the vibrate icon is annoying, wait till you see the oversized message notifications in the ICS beta roms lol

I dont have the link now, but there was an app that let you save your root in a backup file, and restore it again.

For before and after running sky go. Google should lead you too it.

Thanks guys. I did read you could hide it but to be honest I have no need of running root day to day, i just wanted to remove a couple of applications :)
