TT Isle Of Man: Ride On The Edge 2

I work for a family run team that raced there for about 20 years in total. An amazing and unique place (Macau is closest after that) but the relief at the end race week when your rider comes home safe is something else.

I remember when the" funny front ender" Yamaha GTS came out I didn't realise they were used to race, I knew they were supposed to handle really well but thought the hub steering and suspension added a fair amount of extra weight which wouldn't have helped. Thanks for sharing the photo and bringing back memories, I was still riding my 350 YPVS in the early 90s when the GTS came out and acting like a hooligan, happy days

As you can probably guess from my nick, I'm Manx and apart from 3 years in liverpool, lived here all my life.

Thankfully i ride A GSXR 1000, or this game would be nearest thing I would get after 2 years of cancelled TT's and southern 100's.
A lot of businesses are suffering over here, as a lot of them of geared towards the bikes.

Please, do come back when/if the world returns to normal. Ellan Vannin isn't the same without Bike Races!

My wife and I are hoping to make a trip of it in 2022 on my Ducati Multistrada 1260 GT. Fingers crossed, I've never been and have always wanted to go!

Nice, I have a 1100 Multistrada myself.

How often do you get out on the bike out of curiosity?
