Mate of mine is considering all three. He has £32k to spend and wants nearly new i.e. less than 5k miles with options.

I am begging him to get the 370Z, but he is leaning toward the TTS. Any other options he should consider? All thoughts welcome...

If he must spend 32k on that level of car I would say TTS however personally if I was spending that much money on a car I would be looking at a 911 or a M3

£32k is the very top of his budget...there is no need for him to spend it all, as I keep telling him!

Hi there

TTS is the weakest link here, simply not in the same league as the other two cars.

Cayman S for the sheer driving pleasure and involvment.

370Z for the newer and bigger grunt car!

Remember with Porsche if purchased via OPC you get 2yr warranty irrelevent of age, which means your pal could buy a 20k Cayman S and still have a like new warranty if purchased from an OPC. :)

Yeah, buy the right Porsche and you can look at very low running costs for the first 2 years, continue to extend the warranty and play your cards right and they can be affordable.

Not another spec a mate thread :(

The Cayman is the best car.

Also, remember that newer porsche service intervals are quite long.

Not considering a BMW Z car? I took a ride in a new one with hard-top convertible last week (bought for 38k a year ago) and it was awesome, definitely made me reconsider my short list (which also contains the Cayman S).
