tubing and fittings problem

I received some UV red tubing today(13/10mm) and was gonna use it with my xspc 10mm fittings.

The hose slid on the fittings rather easy and even with 10mm clips for it it wasn't really a snug fit. After putting in the coolant and turning the pump on, there is a prominant leak from both the fittings on the cpu cooler and everywhere else is fine.

I'm just really confused as to why this is happening and wanted to get some help on better fittings for it

You're using 10mm barb fittings?

All of your fittings are definitely the same size? You haven't accidentally used 8/10mm fittings on your CPU block have you?

The tubing even without the clips should be a reasonably tight fit.

Well the barbs Im using are XSPC G1/4 to 3/8.

with a clip it should be REALLY snug - sound like the barbs are smaller.
Did the hose slid on all the fitting in the same way?

either that or it's slightly lose and coolant is getting past the O ring

Well ive found a solution. Just bought some EK compression fittings and hopefully it should resolve it
