You need to apply your own.

As said you will need to apply it. But I'm sure there was some Thermal Paste of some sort in the box.

Yeah you are right, I'd forgotten about that. I used some Arctic Silver I had lying around instead though.

It comes with its own paste, which I thought was some of the worst stuff I've used! Really difficult to spread. Popped into a well known PC store and bought some Akasa Silver, which worked a treat.

cheers for the help ive got the Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound paste that should be ok shouldnt it,and its a case of a thin line across the middle like they show you on the artic silver site,never had to put my own on before always used the pre applied stuff

Pretty sure the single line across the headspreader needs to be applied at a different orientation on a quad than a dual.

cheers MoodyMan it goes across from the arrow in the bottom instead of down with the dual,thats right isnt it
