Oh my god.... this thing is seriously huge, i wasnt expecting something as big as this!

I hope it peforms just as well! Anyone got any tips on installing this monster on a C2D proc?

They are monsters though, saw one in the flesh the other week, might have to invest in one myself.

Just take your time fitting it and especially the back plate. I had to take it off again, cos the holes didnt line up lol.

And I used Artic Silver 5 as I found the supplyed stuff, not very good to work with.

wow whats your room temp? 18degrees!!? my room is about 24-26oC and cpu is at 34

Got one myself a week or so ago

At stock, my e6600 was below 20c at idle.. usually 17-18.

Love it

About installing it... it was probably the worst part of building my PC. It's SO fiddly, and getting everything to line up perfectly so that you're happy is very frustrating.

Take your time with installing it.

Very easy indeed, four screws and a backplate, job done.
