Turbo timer

Mine will run the coolant for a short period to cool the turbo down.

Just drive off boost towards the end of the journey or let it tick over for a minute or so.

I had the same thoughts with the impreza. I found a 2 minute rule either side worked fine. Also cost less.

I used to have on my modified turbo car, it was a remote engine start with built in turbo timer.
It had a sensor on the gear stick so if the car was in gear it would not start remotely or it would turn it off if you pressed the turbo timer button.

But it is not actually necessary, was something new at the time so I got it.
