So, are we expecting LuLu to take an engine swap penalty this weekend in Turkey? Max to win or might Valtteri finally DO something?

At this point, I'm just assuming that any team running special livery is going to have a nightmare weekend. Max to crash in Q1, then get taken out by Gio in the race. Peréz to retire from the lead with an engine failure on the second to last lap. You heard it here first

Yeah special livery will look great embedded in the tyre barriers

Rain makes for a good race (apart from Belgium this year!)

If he starts 10th, it could be a dangerous position to be in at the start of a grand prix.

Best he can start is 11th.. 10 place DROP

I wonder.. could Merc take one engine penalty NOW and then take another engine penalty (also for ICU and all the rest) after qually... Adding TWO to their pool? I mean, why not... Would trump Red Bull nicely.

Can't teams take more than one engine per race. So Lewis could take a new engine for FP then another for quali and race. So that way he gets to serve them all at the one race. Or did they stop that after things got silly with McLaren and Honda?

No point, if you take multiple new items of the same part, you can only use one of them in future anyway

Best bit is that Max didnt have a good balance in FP1 & FP2 so a soggy FP3 wont have helped... Maybe Lulu & The Wingman can get the front row before he takes his penalty?

On that note, I did chuckle when Max was being interviewed by Coultard after the race, when asked what the hardest part of the race was, said "Staying awake"

He'd not have said that if he'd won though

I thought it fairly decent a race.. Some unpredictability, some action. Overtakes or attempts, Seb trying slicks and nearly crashing coming into pits to put Inters back on....

I have to say I think Gasly's penalty was a bit harsh but Alonso's with Mick was much clearer and amateur

The mistake was not pitting earlier and that was LuLu over-riding his pit crew

LuLu's response was 100% normal for a racing driver... I mean did you miss Lando's snappy comments to his pit when they asked about Inters at previous race? Heat of battle responses. I don't judge!

Likewise. I'm certainly more of a Lewis fan, and Max and Red Bull are among my least favourites, but Max has performed exceptionally well and would be a deserving winner.

I'd rather watch the more likable Lando win a WDC.... Max is a talent but a bit of a douche... then again, Lewis is a talent but also occasionally a douche...

I just hope when Lewis DOES retire that George, Lando and Charles grab the titles to come..

I mean if RB said the fuel was the reason for their increased perf after their "alleged" upgrade, how can that "excuse" not be valid for Merc.... Karen needs to man up

But seriously though Lando could become a MAJOR asset for F1 in future, as he's so personable AND he's quick and he streams too... Whole new market for F1. I hope Lando gets a better car next year too
