I have a set of Turtle Beach PX21 , i wish to add the DSS or DSS2 digital processor

What`s the difference between between the DSS or DSS2 ?

pretty sure the dss2 is not dolby 5.1/7.1 unlike the dss

Got the DSS2 here now it says Dolby digital. Had it for about a year and it is fantastic for positional sound. Really sounds like sounds are coming from different directions

pretty sure its not 5.1 or 7.1 have its its 4.1 though and even if you ask turtle beach themselves they can't tell you much :rolleyes:

the guy i talked too said they have just put dolby digital on because of licence laws they can't even tell you the exact difference between the first and second dss apart from the fact that turtle beach did make the sound processor in dss but did on the dss2

I would try and get the DSS over the DSS2 if you can, because of the lack of 5.1/7.1. I have had the DSS before but use the astro mixamp now.
