I've had Turtle Beach P11's for a while now and was looking to upgrade them. However, is the Plantronics GameCom 780's a wise choice or would I be better off with something else? Don't really want to spend more than £60.
Thanks in advance.

Anyone? The P11's are Stereo and the 780's are Virtual 7.1 and some reviews say that the audio is as good as £100 headphones. Is this true or should I be looking at something a bit more expensive?

For me personally the positional audio was barely noticeable. This is speaking in a game sense, my DT770's are on par. Don't get me wrong the 780's are really good especially when cost is factored in but I think the difference will be marginal between your P11's.

Ive got a pair of 780s when they were first released on here for £30ish and for the price i cant complain, they are the first usb headset i have had and not being an audiophile they are quite acceptable.

Ok, after some consideration I think I've decided on getting a pair of Corsair 1500's. Just a quick question though to owners: what is the positional audio like on games like Battlefield?

For the 1500's? Don't own Battlefield so can't say but you can edit the whole surround setup and the positioning, the games I have used it on there is a noticeable difference between what your hear in the the 2 cups.

When I first used em I was like "Hmmmm cant see much difference". Downloaded the driver stuff, ran the Corsair USB Headset program and woosh! :D
