this is the sort of gallery i would like to include on my next project i need to follow tutorials as my knowledge base is still limited.

i particularly like the lightbox for displaying full size images.

do you think its worth paying the $25 for these tutorials or do you guys know of a better way ( by better i mean cheaper :))
or some free tutorials

i also like the idea of some of the 3d rotating thumbnails gallry but those look way beyond my understanding at the moment.

i look forward to your comments

no one got any suggestions il maybe just buy the tutorial and see how i get on il make sure to post if i find it helpful

I did something similar to that gallery 18 months ago and you are welcome to a copy of the code if you want it, but unfortunately not for a few weeks as the drive it is on isn't in a PC at the moment.

thats a very kind offer namnoc i appreaciate it.

but i would learn nothing from just a direct copy of code please dont think of me as an arse i really do appreaciate the offer, but i love learning new things and think i would benefit greatly from generating the code and making an effort to use javascript myself i just need a little guidence somthing to follow and a point at witch to start im currently trying to work through http://www.w3schools.com/js/default.asp as i have a few weeks before i can get my hands on the pictures i need to construct the gallry anyway then il decide weather or not to buy that tutorial.

i would love to take a look at your gallry if its online for inspiration if thats ok.

and once again thanks for the responce

evil, the gallery is not on line as the idiot wanting it cancelled the project. I didn't use java though as I wanted it to be completely platform independent. Instead it was all server side php and nothing but html at the client end.
