Guys, looking at the "show us your cases" thread, can't understand how you have totally hidden the cables in many cases? How did you do it? How can you possibly hide the SATA cables - they emerge front he front of the motherboard. Unless of coarse you cleverly disguised them?

Interested in doing this on my i7 new build.

Thanks.

It really comes down to how your case is built. For example mine as room underneath the motherboard backplate for hiding cables. The HDD cage can also be rotated, so the SATA cables go towards the back of the motherboard rather than the front.

On my current case, ive reverse mounted the hdd's. Old pics below.

Theyre supposed to go like this. But its a bit messy due to the corsair sata power cable design.

By reverse mounting them though, the hdd rack locking mechanism cant be closed, but the drives are still securely mounted, view from behind of how they look reverse mounted.

Hide stuff behind what little you have available, reverse mount HDDs if possible, and route everything behind the mobo tray.

Similar case to setter and paradigm

I just fed all the PSU cables and motherboard cables (USB and m/b header) through the hole in the motherboard tray and then tied them all up neatly at the back behind the tray :)

Very nice dlknight. I wish they had stuck with the dual hdd rack fan setup on the current A7* series.
