TV Ariel Help

Ok, I rent a house with some mates and have been there for over a year now with no TV.

This is because the house doesn't have a TV ariel.

Spoke to the landlord about fitting one outside my room and he said he doesnt want anything attatched to the outside of the house. He doesn't mind anything inside though.

So I'm planning to put one of those loft ariels in just above my room and run the cable down. Which I can do without drilling holes.

Just wondering what I need to take into account when setting up / picking an ariel.

I'm hoping to use a digital signal.

And I've tried one of those little ones that sits by the TV and it sucks

Ok. Sorted. According to that site there is nothing in my los.

I was hoping for this to be a project for this weekend Its a lot more complex than I first thought.
