TV Capture Problem..

Sorry if this should be classed under graphics cards but..

I have a Pinnacle PCTV Stereo card. It all works fine apart from one thing. When I capture TV etc through it.. the audio is about 2-3 seconds behind the picture.. I have looked through all the settings and looked on their support site but can not find anything to sort it.

Has anyone else got or had this tv card and if so, if they had the same problem, how did they fix this?

yes..

forgot to say... sound is ok when watching tv, but its when its recording the sound lags behind

Does the card have hardware encoding of any sort? Im thinking that the encoding is using up too much cpu power and data from the sound card isn't getting to the cpu fast enough.

The TV card does use MPEG Hardware encoding
