Quick question- I have just installed a Dual digital tv card- Pinnacle. I have a P5B Plus Vista motherboard.
The card has an audio out and the motherboard has an audio in, so what's best? As I have tried both connected and un-connected and I get audio through the std speakers fine?
Just wondering which is best and should it be connected or not?

TIA

Just leave the audio cable off as by default most digital tv cards pass audio via the PCI bus. The only time that the cable would be required is if the card has an tv-in port and you'd want to record video and audio from the aux connected device.

yea, i'd second that... normally if there'a a single phono it's a Composite In & if it's a 3.5mm style jack it's an IR port interface
