My m8's after a set up that he can play games on (not high res Crysis ;)) and watch TV on. I have a spare set up: Asus A8N Sli Deluxe, FX-53, Geforce 7800 GTX OC, possibly with a 20" wide-screen Dell monitor (if I upgrade mine).
Would all I need to add to this is a TV card (external/internal) and then he plug a free view box into it?
Thanks

Cheers Alan. Vista will be installed so I probably need the later version. Is it a case of plug it into a pci slot, install drivers (if Vista doesn't do that for me) and software, then connect an aerial to the back of the card and your good to go?

DTV 2000 H any good?

Im using that model myself, works a treat in both vista and xp. If I were to buy new now though I would go with a Nebula card.
If your on vista just grab the vista drivers from leadteks website, it won't have vista support from the CD I would'nt of thought.
Then just plug the aerial in and scan for channels, few seconds later your watching TV, allbeit with no red button :(

No red button?

Yeah, you know how when you watch TV like the BBC and you want to go interactive with the red button, well you can't on a PC  unless you use a Nebula card. Despite the remote having a red button.

Thats why my next TV card will be a Nebula as there are times when intercative is the only way to watch certain things. BBC sport often put up different matches via the red button.
