After losing my Powercinema cd key I can't think of any other software I can use for my TV card. Showshifter has never worked with me (when I double click the .exe it loads of a second then stops) Can anyone recommend some free (or trial) software that is good for TV cards?

O/S: XP Home SP2
TV Card: Twinhan Digital/Analoge DVT-B

Tave a look at GBPVR Its totally free and i've been using it for a while. You may want to check on their forums if the card is compatable tough as there are a few that arent.

GB-PVR does look good but it doesnt seem to support mmy Hauppage Nova T USB as i dont think it has bda drivers.

If anyone has got it working please let me know.....As it seems to be the only good looking pvr program that works in 2K

I've now got it fully working and I'm really loving Media Portal! Thank you so much. I've had my TV card since Novemeber and I've finally got it working (Found 59 channels!) Is there a way to tell Media portal to show TV programs in their original aspect ratio? I have tried the 'Original' aspect ratio option but it's stretchin E4 (16:9) into a 4:3 format and it looks horrible. I don't wont to have to keep changing the aspect ratio for every channel. Also is their a good upscaler I can use? When I stretch the picture on my SM913N (1280X1024) the picture is horribly blurred :(

EDIT: Sorry I need some more advice. How would i configure my remote control in XP? It's listed under keyboards "HID Keyboard". I want to configure what buttons do what but I don't seem to have that option?
