TV with lots of HDMI ports

Why so few TVs with more than 2 HDMI ports

I really want to get a new 42" led screen with 3 or ideally 4 HDMI inputs and 1 output....

Any recommended?

get an AV receiver.you get about 6-8 hdmi ports on them.

I certnly don't want a plasma, and I have no budget in mind. Although as the title most led TVs seem to come with two

All have 4 hdmi

In fact I just checked another 4 cheaper 46 inch lcd from Samsung and they all have 4 hdmi too.

42 inch is basically where the crappy sets are nowadays looks like you need 46 inch minimum

Only 2 of the TVs on this page have 2 HDMI the rest have 3 or 4.

It doesn't need to be high end and expensive to have a lot of HDMI ports ... Just a reasonable make and not dirt cheap. Hell I have a 6 year old 32" Samsung LCD TV in the spare room with 3x HDMI which was only ~£400 when I got it (which was cheap at the time).

The TV size makes no difference, it's the model number which matters.

Samsung only make one 42" TV and that is the low end F5000 with 2 HDMI ports.
However if you look at the Samsung range their TV's sizes go 40, 46 and 55 with a few in between 42 and 50 models to fill the gaps.

Any Samsung model from the 6200 range has 4 HDMI ports. In Currys the 40" 6200 costs £500 and the 46" £680

Even the 32" 6200 has 4 HDMI ports (£380)
