TVR Speed 12

i heard rumours that TVR dabbled with a few that had circa 1000bhp.

must have set a new land speed record for test driver deaths though.

its how i want to go, 200mph backwards into a tree. :)

the original concept was even more insane!

I wonder how much more scary these are in real life than they are in GT4?

Probably a lot more! , I can't recall which game I last found a speed 12 in, but it was loopy!

£160k for something that'll probably kill you?

No ta.

For that kind of cash, you could have a supercharged e60 M5 and an M3 CLS with similar mods, plus change!
Neither of the BM's would kill you either I'd have thought.

Sod it, £60k on a heavily modded e46 CSL & £100k change please!

For 160k you could have a heavily modified Ultima, possibly with Carbon fibre panels instead of Fibreglass and endless other performance mods:D

It would go like **** off a chrome shovel:D

I would like to drive a TVR one day though, it would be fun until you have to go take a shower because you **** yourself:p

top speed 250mph I believe, at the time the second fastest road car (behind the Callaway Sledgehammer Corvette) but was never a production car

absolutely insane, I want one

The one in GT4 wheel spins above 100MPH.. how can it get more scary!?

Add the supercharger upgrade for a meagre 12k credits for 1084hp. It's a great way to improve how to be smooth in GT4 as simply flooring the throttle just results in the car going straight to the scene of the crash.

Has anyone tuned it in Forza 2 to see what its like? I've only raced it in Arcade mode, its no were near as wild as GT4

That car is in my lottery win garage.

It is a legend.

The engine bent the input shaft on the dyno so they had to run each bank of it at a time (with the opposite bank causing parasitic losses) then guess the combined output.

Dam right id have it if i won the lottery. Its a complete and utter beast! imagine turing up at your local track day with it!

drool

It is stunning. There is no other word for it. TVR may bulid the most reliable cars, but by god they are beautiful.
