I assume it's one of those USB freeview sticks?

We had a Freecom USB stick and found that it'll only work in the middle of built up places.

It works OK using the houses aerial, but it never was very good due to where we live.

If the make is good/reliable it's all down to where you live whether it'll work properly or not :)
