How does a teenager year old afford a BMW Insurance? :)
He isn't a teenager. As others have said, just read his profile and it tells you his age.

I have met Fox several times and I believe I still owe him a packet of Walkers "Big Eat" ready salted crisps.

I paid around £2.5k insurance per year at one point, I worked full time and had very little outgoings.
Far less these days, if you want it enough, you will pay it.

He doesn't pay anything near that as far as I remember, more around £1000, although I think it's less.

Thread gets more bizarre. I was 22 when I bought the car, was working full time, and paid just over £1000 to comprehensively insure it.

Was of course saying it in jest you are a teenager.

Don't know how anyone can willingly pay out 1k for insurance, though - especially with housing so high.

but then Plymouth is a dump, isnt it?

Class 04...you sir are a muppet...anywhere is a dump, it depends on where you go. Plymouth has lots of nice places as well as lots of nasty ones, same as any town.

£1k on insurance is nothing to be quite honest.

So what was the point of this creepy thread anyway? Having a bad Christmas day Class 04? Everyone else seems quite jovial but you are posting threads about TW Fox and bike repair books on Christmas day. Did the bike your mum gave you fall to bits or something? :D

I am down as my wife is away. :(

I used to pay over £3k to insure a diesel Passat TPFT :p

Not everyone has the Thatcherite mentality of "MUST BUY HOUSE NOW". Some people like to enjoy their freedom whilst they are still able and fair play to them.

And yes, I have met Fox. He's a modern day rain man.

Some might say toy trains are boring, as well. The moral of that particular story being quite obviously 'each to their own' :)

fo sho, but teasing others is also fun. :)

I don't actually model trains - never got round to it.

Was supposed to be starting last summer but travelling got in the way.

It is a childhood dream I have never fulfilled.

Teasing? No, just showing you are not the smartest of people about.

If you don't like cars etc. why even come into Motors other than to troll?

Who is the biggest gimp here? From the photo it looks like Fox but by looking at the thread title (on xmas day!? ) I'm swaying more towards Class 04.
