Twisted Metal Demo

I thought the original games were great, but the new one looked pretty shocking, as well as having graphics almost on par with Black. I would be interested to hear people's opinions on this demo. ;)

It's apparently very good (the demo) though hard. Jaffe (creator) tweeted that the final game will not be that hard on that setting.
 
Twisted Metal still around? Thought this went long time ago when PS1 finally stopped selling.. lol

First one was a heck of a blast on the PS1, along with destruction derby - good times they were indeed.
 
I would literally cream if they released a new destruction derby game that was like the first 2 with graphics from this generation.
 
Twisted Metal 2 and Destruction Derby 2 are amongst my all time favourite games and gaming memories.

I hope the new Twisted Metal lives up to expectations :)

Not anymore... sony purchased the company back in the 90's renamed it Sony Computer entertainment SCE but nowadays only parts of the company remains...

Studio Liverpool are doing wipeout, they were (are still) part of SCE (ex Psygnosis) and recently released wipeout HD and wipeout 2048 for PS Vita.

Psygnosis did some great games back in the 16bit era... They also did some great PS1 games back when Sony invested a lot of money into their new SCE devision..

+1!! Me and my mates would play through the co-op mode over and over again!!

Play as minion..L1, up, down, left! :)
 
I managed to get 990 points on the first race on Destruction Derby 2 once.

Me and my mate were rolling around on the floor with laughter.
 
Just downloaded this and played 30 minutes of it or so, seems alright. The single player part it gives you is I find personally, really difficult xD. Not been able to try online yet as it comes up with errors. The controls are take a bit of getting used to.

The guy who is making it did tweet that the final game will not be a hard on that mode as it is in the demo. And they are looking at the matchmaking errors too.
