So recently I have been watching Twitch, it is strangely addictive and can be quite good if you find the right feed.

Any of you OCUKers watch a lot of Twitch? who are your favourite streamers? Towelliee is my current favourite, very funny and interesting.
 
I've watched a few Twitch streams, I do hate the recent trend of attention whores on there and the buy me stuff/donate like it's some form of acceptable cam show.

It's for streaming games you play, you want to be an attention whore **** off to YouTube and start a channel, don't give me a crappy small window to watch the game I came to see and the rest of my screen filled with I CAN HAZ DONATIONS? and your face plastered in the center of the screen with your **** hanging out.
 
Usually watch when theres a tournament on IEM etc as above tho, the attention whores are annoying but i wouldnt watch one person streaming their game anyway only casted tournaments

Since getting the Xbox One, I use it to watch the odd game streams and silly antics people get up to in games. Great laugh... and then as mentioned by anti, there's the cam whores. I want to watch games, not you. If I want softcore, Google search have plenty.

a mate of mine plays COH and streams and he has a betting bot in his channel where you can bet on the outcome of the game he is playing.

i have it on the background when i'm playing.... sometimes hear his rant and raves when games not going quite so well :)

I don't watch Twitch that often but I have watched the above folks on more than one occasion.
 
Wasn't convinced by Twitch when I first heard about it but I now watch most of the big Dota 2 tournaments and a little CS:GO if the event has most of the top teams.

Watch some solo dota 2 streams also as background noise if I am browsing the web.
 
Don't have time to play games really... very occasionally play GTA. Would probably use something like twitch if they had say tutorials etc... bit if it's just live streaming then really don't see much attraction to it over simply playing the game yourself.

I did hear if one interesting use for it - a successful poker player started a channel apparently... obviously had a few minutes delay but basically he provided commentary/thoughts while playing each hand... that sort of thing could be interesting.
