Wanted to change my twitter background to something different than just a generic pattern so spent the last few days doing below

does not fit properly on a 24" and will not fit a laptop screen.

tried on 6 different PC with different resolution and it was looking ok

You need to change the backgroundcolour to white and I would personally fade out the image on the right hand side.

People on larger resolutions or large browser viewport won't see the right hand side but see the sudden white -> beige and the image ending.

Am on 1680x1050 and the right hand part of of the image is lost - can't see the character holding the number plate.

You should set the page background to white and fade the image to white aswell.
