Twitter is currently under DDos Attack. Found the article on here http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8188201.stm, while i think DDoS'ing is obviously a very naughty thing - i do enjoy that it has happened to such a waste of time site!

You could say that same about any other "community" based site. Just because you're too old/not cool enough to understand something doesn't make it a waste of time.
Not really since other sites offer great value, Twitter is just the same as Facebook Status updates without all the other extras. How is that a great thing?
Facebook i can see the value of, MySpace is a corporate tool, but "Twitter" - "SMN - I just had a poo", "SMN - I just ate lunch", its not very ... pointful
It's not my fault that you decided to follow idiots - you should be more selective!
It's like complaining about "blogging" because you once read a blog which was boring.

He had the same thing he has every breakfast - EPO and 'roids, and plenty of 'em.
That's exactly the point - what if someone wanted JUST to see the updates without being told that x is now a friend of y and that z has just score 100,000 on bejewled?
It's fine that people don't understand it - it makes up for all the years of me not understanding things such as facebook/faceparty/myspace/etc.
