I had made an account to message Virgin Media to say they suck and fix my TV/Modem.

infact i thought twitter was only there to tell me people i used to know at school 20 years ago had just run 4.6km in 44 seconds and were feeling smug.

Twitter is only as good as the people you follow. Sure if you follow morons, you're going to get moronic tweets.

If you follow insightful people about topics you're interested in it's better than any news agency.
