Twitter

I really wanna get in to it but I don't really see the point.

SweetCron does better. It tracks everything I do online and creates a list. E.g. what I digg, things I upload to flickr, facebook status updates, etc.
 
I joined just because everyone kept talking about it, don't really see much point too it. There's not much you can do, just update your status which can be done on facebook anyway.
 
Whats the point in Twitter anyway? I suppose I could see the point in celebrities doing it if you're interested in what they do in their lives - but other than that it's pointless :p

As an addition to this, there is always "I am doing..." on facebook - so why have a completely seperate site for it :p
 
its strangely addictive. ive just been reading loads of music people kicking off about the grammys

Twitter is Gay it's Official.

Now if everybody types twitter is gay then Any link via Google to twitter will lead here telling all how Gay it is :D

excluding the massive influx of users it's had in the past 2/3 weeks, celbrities included, it can be a good method of communication, rather than an update on what you're doing at that moment in time, most people use it to say something interesting (maybe only to their friends, but you're not required to follow anyone).

If someone is just writing crap updates on what they're doing all the time just dont follow them, there are plenty of informative/interesting people to follow
 
I'm on it, it's fantastic if you follow the right people and use it properly rather than a "what you're eating for lunch" update service

From what I gather, people prefix their usernames with the @ symbol, leading me to refer to users of the site as a different word starting with 'tw'
