Very nice Stevie!

Just wondering what desk you have there ? - Sorry for the random Q :S
Hi its the MIKAEL Desk from IKEA and i wouldnt recommend it to anyone.. its weak, and the finish is coming off mine.. im actually looking for a similar desk that wont look so bad after only a few weeks of use..

Is a 24" really much more of an improvment over a 20" 2005? Been lookin at one for ages now but i keep thinking, its just 4 inches more.

Of course it is! You really will notice the difference.

just got mine, very big - bigger than i thought it would be actually. Looks great for movies (tried some 1080p stuff :D ). What's the best free monitor calibrator though - i think i need to sort some colours out etc.

24" is a hell of a step up. I have a 24", then a friend was after one but couldn't justify the money so asked me to get him a 2005. I had the two side by side and the 2407 really puts the 20" to shame. As soon as I took my friend's 2005 out of the box he regretted buying it immediately!

How do games look on this if you can't play at max/native res?

Games still look good in 1600 X 1200

Some of my games dont support 1920 X 1200, and i thought 'damn its not going to look that good', but its fine. I think i was playing FEAR in 1600 X 1200 before i updated my direct x, and it looked great.

Mine came this morning.
All setup, and looking nice.
Just need to do some dead pixel tests on either screen. :)

I hate to say it but MFI, got a desk/book shelf/Drawers about 4 years ago, and they are thick wood, tuff finish, and still look great.
And not too expensive either

Ive got to say, im impressed with these 2407s, but one thing that has bothered me is that ive given GTA:SA a bash, and its just so 'full on'. Maybe its something that i'll get used to?

How do you mean, 'full on'?

I hate everyone in this thread for making me want a dual screen setup. I can't even afford one of them monitors.
