Should do what you want it to fine, the 4670 isnt the fastest card on the market, but the slightly lower resolution will help there. Should play most things happily with a decent framerate on medium, perhaps high depending on what your daughters tolerances are (I know some people who want 60fps+high in everything, other people are happy with lower res, lower settings, 25+, its completely individual), and the I7 will help keep things nice and perky for general use.

Take a look into the ATI mobility modder. Dell's supplied graphics drivers will usually be quite out of date, which the mobility modder will help with. (they dont even supplied all Win7 certified drivers for thier M17x gaming flagship model!)
