two external hard drives??

i have nearly used up all my space on my external hard drive and was wondering if u can have more than 1 plugged in?? or do i have to by a bigger one and put all my info onto the new one?

if you mean via usb then yes you can have as many external drives as you do USB slots. i have 5 external USb drives atm

My dodgy maths says that 25 is the most you could have connected simultaneously - after that you're out of drive letters and you can't use dynamic volumes on externals so mounting to a path is out. You'd also have to forego floppy & CD/DVD drives.
