Two HDD Drives?

Is it possible to install two HDD's to a single computer?
I propose to initially buy a 500GB HDD for Music, Games, Movies etc.
Then buy a 80GB HDD to intall my OS.
I'd be doing this, incase I get a virus then I could just wipe the 80GB HDD with the OS installed, then just re-install the OS and I'd be fine.

Would this work?

a hdd drive? i find the easiest way to get one of those is to put your pin number into an atm machine

yes it will work fine,you could make an 80gb partition on the 500gb hdd and install your os to that? then you only need one drive,use the other partition for games ect

Wondering if 500GB is enough? Should I opt for 1TB?
